APPLICATION AREAS

Potential Applications

Areas where hydrogen-drone systems may be considered for aerial observation and field support, depending on the mission and operating environment.

Aerial Monitoring

Observing wide areas from the air and gathering visual information about field conditions.

Disaster Safety

Using aerial imagery and observations to support an understanding of conditions at a disaster site.

Field Inspection

Viewing hard-to-access areas and facilities through aerial imagery.

VIDEO OVERVIEW

Flight & Ground Control

A closer look at drone-station take-off and the ground control interface.

Drone Station & Take-off

A view of the drone’s take-off sequence from its station.

Ground Control System

An introduction to iPOP’s ground control interface and its functions.

SYSTEM AT A GLANCE

From the aircraft to the ground.

The hydrogen-drone system brings together an aerial platform, ground control and a mobile station. Each part has a distinct role in the field configuration.

01 / AIR

Hydrogen Drone

An aerial monitoring platform using a liquid-hydrogen energy system.

02 / CONTROL

Ground Control

Ground software for mission planning and viewing flight status and video.

03 / FIELD

Mobile Drone Station

A vehicle-based setup combining a drone lift platform with onboard ground control.
